This is a novel in raw form. I had started it a couple years back, then panicked and shelved it. The original plan was to have each chapter be written from a different character’s point of view, but each from a specific media. This proved to be too difficult from the start, but elements remain. There’s a character who’s chapters are part of his journal, a girl’s diary, excerpts from another character’s self-help book, another character’s movie scripts, etc. etc.
Fair warning… this novel doesn’t currently have an ending… I’m about 42,000 words in, which translates into about 170 pages in a printed book…. Part of the reason I shelved it was I didn’t know where it was headed, and I got frightened.
Being frightened is not a good emotion to be in when trying to create something.
I’m planning to post a chapter a week here, and try to catch up writing on the back end. Who knows? If I get my shit together, this entire explanation can be deleted.
